Agreement between the government and relief teachers, withdrawal of the movement
A five-point agreement has been reached between the government and the protesting relief and child development teachers. With the agreement, the teachers’ movement has returned.
With the involvement of Education Minister Ashok Kumar Rai, it has been agreed to maintain 100 percent internal competition for relief teachers for once.
The teachers who passed the examination will be permanent, while the teachers who failed will be given a financial package by the government. In the 6-point agreement with the teachers’ federation on October 5, it was mentioned to reach 75 percent. Disagreeing with it,
the government started negotiations after the relief and child development teachers continued their protest.
