Durga Prasai, a medical professional who has announced a protest for the restoration of the monarchy since November 7, will be held in Ratnapark.

Prasain’s program is going to be held in Ratna Park after District Administration Office Kathmandu declared a prohibited area from Maitighar to Baneshwar citing security reasons. He said that citizens from all over the country who want to change the system are going to gather in Kathmandu from today.

Prasain said that the protest, which will start from November 7, will continue until the system is changed. In a conversation with Khabarhub, he said that the decision of the administration office to declare a prohibited area from Maitighar to Baneshwar was welcome and he said, ‘I don’t even want to go there because Gobind KC, Madhav Nepal, Prachanda are staying there saying that we are here. District Administration Office Kathmandu had declared a prohibited area from Maitighar to Baneshwar.

As the program cannot be held at Maitighar, the Youth Union has said that it will hold a program at Tinkune. The UML has taken the performance of the youth union targeted at Prasain’s program as an exhibition of its strength.
